Barbara Barry is a complete aesthete—someone for whom every detail, every day, in every way is considered through the lens of how it could be made better, more efficient, and ultimately more pleasing. That sensibility drives her work and defines her approach to design.
Her practice of interior design naturally led to product design, and her work has been celebrated through long-standing partnerships spanning furniture, lighting, textiles, bedding, carpets, crystal, plumbing, tile, and window coverings.
When not designing, Barbara aspires to devote more time to plein-air painting, a practice rooted in her upbringing in a family of artists and inspired by the subtle colors, forms, and light found in nature
